Massage is not an escape from your daily life, it is the enhancement of it. Too often, practices in wellbeing are thought of as "getting away from it all." Instead I invite you to think of massage as a way to get closer to what your day, your life, is really all about. Feeling good in your body is feeling good about life. During the day your body tells you many things: that it is hungry, tired, excited, restless. The practice of massage enables both people — yourself and the practitioner — to recognize the body's signals and to respond, either soothingly or with invigoration. Maybe both!
